Eric Schaefer has sixteen years experience in the mortgage industry, including positions at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, Polygon Mortgage, Envoy Mortgage, and Williamette Valley Bank. He has experience with all types of residential and commercial loans, including mortgages for first-time homebuyers, self-employed entrepreneurs, and real estate investors.

Always available for his clients, Eric has great communication skills that enable him to build strong rapport and trust with his clients and referral partners. His goal is to “help every client have a smooth, low-stress loan approval process.”

He achieves this by his quick responses and clear communication, from the first contact with a client through the closing (and beyond). Eric loves what he does, in part because he appreciates meeting and working with people from different nationalities, backgrounds, and professions.

Born and raised in Hinsdale, Illinois, (a suburb of Chicago), Eric attended the University of Montana, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

Outside the office, Eric enjoys downhill and backcountry skiing, surfing, listening to live music, cooking, reading, watching Chicago sports teams, road trips in his Euro van, and hanging out with his Golden Retriever, Grizzly.
